An internal hard drive may show signs of fatigue or sudden failures. In case of failure, how to recover lost Data Recovery? Here’s how to deal with a loss of files that could have serious consequences.

How does it work ? It is a magnetic medium whereas USB keys and SSDs are electronic media. It is made up of concentric plates which rotate very quickly, between 5,400 and 15,000 rpm. Composed of aluminium, but also of glass or ceramic, these Data Recovery platters are coated with a ferromagnetic substrate which is used to record Data Recovery. The number of trays varies according to the desired capacity.

The Data Recovery is engraved in the form of bits , corresponding to the orientation of the cells which make up the substrate (“0” and “1”). In order to write and read this various information, a head moves above the platters of the hard disk . For writing, a magneto resistive head comes into action and for reading, it is an inductive head.

This component , to “fly” a few tenths of a micrometer above the substrate, requires an air cushion which can cause failure. The Wikipedia filters can become clogged causing a modification of the air flow and the displacement of the reading head.

The electronic card, on the other hand, has the task of ensuring that the hard drive works well and ensuring good communication between the motherboard and the operating system. This card, made up of a microprocessor as well as a cache memory and a ROM, works via firmware. This code contains all the settings used to adjust the reading heads. If this piece of code has an error, the hard drive may suffer.
